ACADEMIC BOOK COACHING

& DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING

Built around your actual life, brain, and workload—not an idealized version of scholarly life that doesn't exist

Coaching Programs

  • An open planner or journal showing a schedule for Tuesday and Wednesday with tasks listed for each day. The planner is on a blue surface, alongside a cup of tea or coffee, some green plant, and a lined notebook. There is a blue ribbon bookmark and several highlighters or pens.

    Strategy & Structure Program

    Coaching

    2-3 Months

For scholars who need a sustainable way to move the book forward.

Choose this program if your main challenge is planning the work, protecting time for it, maintaining momentum, or getting past the internal barriers that make writing harder.

  • Open notebook with handwritten notes, a black and silver pen on top, a white mug, a glass of tea, and a pile of books on a wooden desk. In the background, a computer monitor, a bouquet of pink and purple flowers, a small black speaker, and a window showing an outdoor scene with trees.

    Book Development Program

    Coaching + Developmental Editing

    6-9 Months

For scholars who want sustained support developing both their writing practice and the manuscript itself.

Choose this program if you want an editorial thought partner who can help you strengthen the manuscript while navigating the practical and psychological challenges of writing it.

Comparison of the two coaching programs. The main differences is that the book development program is longer, includes more coaching sessions, and includes 30k words of developmental editing. The shorter program doesn't include developmental editing.
